Go to the library or a book store and look around. Understand that many, many other people have written books, and you can, too. Then pick a realistic number of words you promise yourself to write every day–maybe it’s 500, maybe it’s 200–and stick to it. If you do that, the words will accumulate, and you will have something other than a blank page to work from. (OP 11/22/2013)
